Good people. Building great businesses. Together.

Members of The Sounding Board® Collaborate with a select Community of true peers who understand your world, and Support your Success in both Business and in Life.

The Sounding Board® isn't just a peer advisory group. It's a community of leaders who recognize that success without context and balance isn't success at all. We push each other to grow our companies, develop our leadership, and show up for the people we love.

A proven model. A profound community.

Peer-advisory, CEO roundtable groups are certainly not a new proposition. In fact, there is no shortage of respected market players and business models in this space.

What distinguishes The Sounding Board® from it’s competitors is our three pillars prioritizing:

  1. High-level peer collaboration

  2. Balancing business with family/relationship success

  3. Building a broader community of connected local leaders.

Ours is not a business coaching model, but rather a member-focused dynamic, focused on surrounding members with brilliant, deeply commited peers within each facilitated group, and curating opportunities to engage with the larger community as it grows.

Who we are. What we believe.

We believe great CEOs are not just effective leaders, but also great parents, partners, and people. We're building a community where you can be both ambitious and vulnerable, driven and present, successful in the office, and at the dinner table.

The Sounding Board® Cultural Commitments:

  • We are invested in each other’s success. We commit to being present, going deep and working hard in the service of our companies, our employees , our families, and those of our fellow group members.

  • We are committed to moral and ethical leadership. We do the right thing for the right reasons — profitably, and hold each other accountable to do the same.

  • We prioritize compassionate candor. We say what we mean, and mean what we say without being mean when we say it.

  • We solve big problems. We know that time is our most precious resource and we spend our time working on important, complex and impactful issues.

  • We celebrate our humanity and create a powerful space that celebrates and honors vulnerability, humility, and ambition.

  • We are committed to being loving and present parents, spouses and partners. We believe that success in business at the expense of our personal relationships is failure.

We have one seat available. Are you the right fit?

Our Sounding Board® CEO roundtable is comprised of committed leaders from non-competing industries, so we always only have one seat per industry available in each roundtable — until we don’t. Once a seat is filled, the seat in that group often remains closed for 3 to 5 years. That’s why we don’t ever recruit. Instead, we evaluate prospects for fit, wisdom and commitment to success — both professionally and personally.

Conversations you can’t have anywhere else.

The Sounding Board® Member Benefits Include:

  • Monthly half-day+ board meetings

  • Issue processing/deep discussion

  • Expert speakers to sharpen your saw

  • Monthly all-city member community breakfasts
